Feminine Stock Photos – These Platforms You Need to Know

High-quality images are an essential part of your marketing efforts. Especially for female founders and self-employed entrepreneurs who don’t want to invest in a professional business shoot yet or are just starting out, stock photos are a valuable resource. Stock images provide a time-saving and cost-effective way to incorporate professional, high-quality visuals into your marketing strategy.

With so many stock photo providers out there, it’s often difficult to find the right images — especially if they’re supposed to look feminine and natural. That’s why in this article, I’m sharing my five favorite stock photo platforms that can help elevate your marketing.

Social Squares – Stock Photos for Creators

Social Squares offers a wide range of feminine stock images for various uses. In addition to mood shots, you’ll find flatlays, mock-ups, business photos, and even videos — making Social Squares especially attractive to creators. But it’s also perfect for coaches, designers, virtual assistants, or even photographers. All images come in high resolution and multiple formats, so you can use them across different marketing materials. The visuals are highly aesthetic and unique, so you won’t feel like you’ve already seen them everywhere.
Social Squares currently offers only a membership plan, which lets you download an unlimited number of images. The annual subscription costs
$499 — making it the most premium platform on this list.

Colorjoy Stock – The Diverse Stock Photo Platform

Colorjoy Stock is one of my favorite sources for stock photos because the photographer features fellow female founders as models. The people in the photos look just like you and me — making them especially authentic. Colorjoy Stock is also one of the most diverse stock photo platforms on the market. This is great because people of color are often underrepresented in traditional stock photos.
Christina Jones’ photos and videos are very feminine. You’ll find not only white and pink tones, but also blue, orange, and lilac options. In the member area, you can filter by color, format, and collection.
Besides photos and videos, Colorjoy Stock offers additional perks like Canva templates or custom mood boards and color themes tailored to your brand. The library currently holds over 4,000 images and videos, available for $39 per month.

Haute Stock – A Stock Platform for Your Marketing

Haute Stock is one of the most well-known stock platforms for fempreneurs — and for good reason. Besides high-resolution images and videos, Haute Stock also offers numerous templates for your marketing: presentations, newsletter headers, workbooks and e-books, sales templates, Reels templates, and more. This means you’ll find everything you need for a cohesive brand presence on one platform. The topics covered are extensive: lifestyle, beauty, flowers/weddings, business, mock-ups, motherhood and mompreneurs, food, and interiors. Membership can be purchased annually or quarterly. The yearly fee is $399.

Ivory Mix – Ready-to-Use Stock Content

Ivory Mix also offers a wide variety of ready-to-use content that makes your life easier. You can download images for free or invest in a monthly membership.
The free library already includes over 400 images, templates, and done-for-you resources like Instagram captions or video ideas. In the paid plan, the library is updated monthly with over 100 new images and templates, so you’ll always have fresh content. The quarterly membership costs $67 and also includes the ability to resell select templates and images.

Girl Boss Stock – Feminine Mock-Ups

Girl Boss Stock is an online shop specializing in feminine mock-ups. It also offers a wide range of ready-to-use content that makes content creation much easier.

Maybe some of these images already look familiar? I personally use all of these stock photo platforms for my own marketing on babeswhomarket.de. Because these images are paid, you get professional visuals that stand out from the mass of free stock photos (and avoid tricky licensing issues).
Another huge plus: besides stock images and videos, you also get many other ready-to-use and done-for-you resources like Canva templates. I can highly recommend them from my own experience. I can highly recommend them from my own experience. Still unsure? All of the stock libraries mentioned in this article offer a selection of free images when you sign up for their newsletter, so you can test the quality before committing.
